If you are interested in a job at the soon-to-open Tampa Premium Outlets mall, a job fair is scheduled for August 27 to fill 800 open positions. The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event at the Embassy Suites located at 3705 Spectrum Blvd. The event is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Store representatives will be handing out applications ad conducting interviews at the event. Seasonal, part-time, full-time and management positions are available. A media release regarding the event stated, “Attendees are asked to come dressed to impress in professional attire and have copies of their resume on hand.”
The Tampa Premium Outlets mall is scheduled to open on October 29 near the Interstate 75 and State Road 56 interchange. Roughly 110 stores are lined up to open in the new mall. Mall officials say the outlet stores will offer savings of 25 to 65 percent off of regular retail prices.
The project’s developer has already announced the initial lineup of stores for the new mall. Those stores include Adidas, Banana Republic Factory Store, Brooks Brothers Factory Store, Coach, Cole Haan, Disney Store Outlet, Ecco, Express Factory Outlet, Fossil, Gap Factory Outlet, Hartstrings, Nike Factory Store, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th, and Samsonite. Future additions will include Guess, the Limited and Tilly’s.
The 441,000-square-foot shopping center will also include a food pavilion and various seating areas for rest between shopping sessions. In a media release, the mall’s general manager Stacey Nance said, “Tampa Premium Outlets provides one-stop shopping and these diverse retail offerings will appeal to our entire customer base, which includes not only southwest Florida residents but tourists, as well.”
