Facebook Messenger now finally supports multiple accounts. The Multiple Account feature has been added in the most recent build of the messenger, where in you can add multiple Facebook accounts which includes your profile, the pages you manage, etc. There was a lot of talk with regards to this feature and how would this be actually incorporated, while Facebook keeps all the messages in one place and does not lead to any confusion. The results are finally out for you to test.
In order to get the feature, you will be required to update the Facebook Messenger application. After that you will be able to add your multiple accounts. Facebook has promised that the feature will keep all the massages at the same place and yet you will never be confused about anything related to it. The interface is going to be the same. Facebook has also mentioned that the addition of the features will not result in any sort of privacy breach on the part of the user.
Another benefit of the feature is supposedly the switching act that can be done in ease. According to the reports, the once multiple accounts are activated on your device, you will not have to worry about signing out and signing in again if you are looking forward to switch to a completely different set of accounts.
The official launch statement from Facebook read, “All over the world, hundreds of millions of people share their phones and tablets with members of their family and friends. At Messenger, we want to make communication simpler, more seamless and secure, so we are happy that we have now launched a feature on Android that enables multiple people to log in and use Messenger from a single, shared device.”
In order to activate the multiple accounts support, you will be required to update the Facebook messenger application. Then all you need to do is go the accounts section and then activate multiple accounts features under settings.
