Net Neutrality to stay as ruled by US Court

The decision with regards to net neutrality as ruled out by the Federal Communications Commission will keep Internet open to all. Internet is something that needs to be treated as it is equal for all. According to the ruling by the three judge panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, everyone should have equal access to the Internet. The users should be able to use the internet for everything; irrespective of the fact that whether they are uploading images or watching movies online.

According to the statement by Tom Wheeler, Federal Communications Commission Chairman, the judgement in favour of net neutrality will “ensures the Internet remains a platform for unparalleled innovation, free expression, and economic growth.” There has been a great response with regards to the recent ruling by the court in favour of net neutrality.

Some individuals believe that the telecom companies that were running for compartmentalization will certainly move up to the higher court against the judgement passed on by the lower court.
