It doesn’t matter whether people still love Samsung phones or not, but the anticipation of smartphone consumers hasn’t gone down anywhere – as we can see many headlines popping up on many tech blogs are related to Samsung’s upcoming smartphones. The new addition to this anticipation is the video playback time. According to a mobile expert analyst Eldar Murtazin’s tweet, Samsung Galaxy S7 will offer a massive 17+ hours of video playback with maximum brightness settings, which is said to be a new record in this class of devices.
Mobile-reviews’ Eldar Murtazin was accurate so far in his leaks related to smartphones, hence, his tweet force us to hope for the same. Another important leak of the day is – as the headlines said – Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge’s press images leaked online.
Actually, 2 images of alleged Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphone leaked – one image is by Venture Beat through Evan Blass, who was known for his popular leaks related to smartphones in the past. Another one, which doesn’t contradict with the first image, is also leaked by Evan Blass under his Twitter handle @evleaks.
Both the leaked images confirm the previous rumors that stated that Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will be a larger device, unlike S6 Edge. Meanwhile, if you see the below image, you may find the date “Sun, February 21” on the display screen. Mobile World Congress 2016 will be held in Barcelona on February 22-25, and Samsung will be revealing the device on a day before the event in a separate press event.
According to the recent rumors and claims, Samsung Galaxy S7 will be having a 3,000mAh non-replaceable battery, premium crisp display with AMOLED technology, Samsung’s own Exynos 7420 processor, and a MicroSD card slot.
